Sound Royalties, which offers cash advances for creatives, opens Nashville office
Sound Royalties, a specialty music industry finance firm that offers songwriters and musicians cash advances in exchange for a percentage of future royalties, has set up shop in Nashville.
The company’s founder and CEO Alex Heiche relocated to lead the Nashville office, which is located in the Gulch.
Sound Royalties provides advances as low as $5,000 and as high as $10 million. But unlike similar specialized music-focused finance firms, the company does not purchase royalties outright. Instead, it taps into existing royalty streams to pay back the advance with interest.
